The second border is Cau Treo Border located in the border between Vietn Nam and Laos and far from Ha Tinh city about 75km. And the next one is Moc Bai Border located in the border between Vietnam and Cambodia and far from Ho Chi Minh city about 70km.

Documents for applying Vietnam Visa:

If you directly apply Vietnam Visa at Vietnam Embassy or Vietnam Consulate in your area, your documents needed for applying visa include passport with its validity of 6 months at least and an approval letter signed by Vietnam Immigration Department. To do the approval letter, you should have the guidances in detail from Vietnam Embassy or Vietnam Consulate located in your area. The fee you have to pay for this is about 25US$.

In the case you have the help from the travel agencies or companies where supply an approval for you, you just give them your information with the name; birthday; nationality; passport number and then they will apply the approval letter for you with its result in three days. However in this way, you have to pay a services fee for this letter, it is about 8USD to 20USD per letter. The fee is not the same because it depends on how many people in your group or you just apply a letter for yourself. And pay the attention that for this case, you have to pay additionally the fee upon arrival in the borders for stamp visa. It is about 45USD. Beside, don’t forget to prepare 2 passport sized photos together with your approval letter in A4 printed upon arrival time.

For almost information as above is for visitor visa within 1 month. There are visitors who come from some contries where be not asked visa into Vietnam for traveling in 15 days. These countries are Russia, Japan, Korea, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Sweden. Especially for visitors come from countries belong to ASEAN ( excluding Myanmar), they will dispense with visa requirement if their staying in Vietnam in 30days.
